Our Story
Creative Explorations RGV began as a small art class with the City of Harlingen in 2016. Lead Artist, Oneida Aceves Trevino, saw a need for an Art Education program in her community. She used her many years of experience as a Public School Art Teacher to create an Arts Education available to all in her community.
Creative Explorations RGV has now grown to a moderate studio space operating in Rio Grand Valley Arts Studio in Harlingen where studio art classes are taught weekly for all ages from toddlers to adults.
Oneida has transformed Creative Explorations RGV into an All Arts- Based Business where her main focus is to create Public and Private Art Murals throughout the RGV and beyond, all while incorporating her skills in this avenue into her studio art classes.
